ARCH’23 Conference

Fuzhou, China, October 25 – 28, 2023

1. CONFERENCE INTRODUCTION

The 10th International Conference on Arch Bridges (ARCH’23), which will be held in Fuzhou, Fujian province, China, on October 25th - 28th, 2023 with the general topic: “Sustainable and Innovative Arch Bridges”.

Since the first ARCH Conference (UK 1995), eight subsequent editions took place (Italy 1998, France 2001, Spain 2004, Portugal 2007, China 2010, Croatia 2013, Poland 2016 and Portugal 2019), all high quality and successful events. Stemming from such heritage, it is our pleasure to invite you to the 2023 ARCH Conference.

All information regarding Arch’23 will be issued on the Arch’23 website (https://arch2023.fzu.edu.cn/index.htm) and the official website of the Permanent Scientific Committee of International Conference on Arch Bridges (PSC-iCAB) (http://arch-bridges.fzu.edu.cn.

3. CONFERENCE VENUE

The conference will be held in Fuzhou city, Fujian Province, China. The city of Fuzhou is the capital of Fujian Province in China. It is located in the east coast and the lower reaches of the Min River, facing Taiwan across the sea. Fuzhou is a famous cultural city with a history of more than 2200 years. It is also known as the hot spring capital and the hometown of banyan trees. It has many scenic spots, such as three lanes and seven lanes, Gu Mountain, Xichan temple and so on. It is an excellent tourist city in China.
